The pre-Dakhla-Phase
Preparing for the desert
After a 3 hour flight to Casablanca, we arrived in a cold and typical Arabian airport. Luckily our surf travel agent, organized everything for us, so we didn't have to worry. Or did we? Yes, 1 Hour later we had to organize a cab ourselves, as our local agent obviously forgot about us. Arrived at the hotel, we were offered the next surprise. They had no rooms left. We had to move to the "Business Hotel". What a joke, but so typical for those countries. Inschala ;-) Casablanca or called Dar el Beida wasn't a big deal. We visited old medina and then went eating oysters at "Play it once, Sam, for old times' sake" Rick's Cafe. Rick's Cafe, the mythical saloon from the 1942 film "Casablanca". Nice place to chill, must be great in the evening. Click here or on the image to see the pictures!
