Pandora's Box anno 2006
For me the name Pandora always was related with terms such as punishment and poison. Last week I read an article in the german edition of the financial times which might change this relational thinking. Pandora is an automated music recommendation and Internet radio service created by The Music Genome Project. You begin by entering a song or artist that they love, and the service responds by playing selections that it thinks are musically similar. Afterwards you are able to provide feedback on the individual song choices — approval or disapproval, which the system takes into account for future selections. Works really Great! so sorry to hear that you were not using Pandora during the past year... It is one of my favorites and I should have sent you the link back in 2005... Pandora helps many people explore their favorite parts of the music universe and soon (very soon) it will be incorporated into Sonos systems so that you can enjoy your favorite tunes in each room of your home using just one cool little remote.
